It's Tuesday - Taco Tuesday!!

Since Lockdown 1.0 we have had Tacos for every single Tuesday, we made so many different ones: prawns, vegetables, pork mince, beef mince, steak, chicken, shrimps, fish fingers ( lol), salmon

They are pretty easy to make, and they are so tasty! We usually have with some broccoli or fries as a side

Ingredients:

Half smashed avocado

Lime

Cherry tomatoes

Onion

Grated Cheddar

Handfull coriander

Grated carrots

Salt

Oil

Method:

  • In a bowl smash half of the avocado, and squeeze half of a lime

  • Chop the tomatoes and if you like onion, add chopped onion as well. Add some oil and some salt

  • Grate cheddar

  • Grate some carrots, and add some lime

  • On a pan, heat the tacos wrap for about 2 - 3 mins each side

  • In the plate - place the wrap, add the smashed avocado, tomatoes, carrots, whatever fish / meat you want and then spirnkle with some cheddar and some coriander!

Steak

This one was with steak - we cooked the steak in a pan, adding just a bit of lime and salt, and then cut it into slices

Chicken

This was with chicken, we marinated the chicken in some lime, salt and honey.

Salmon

We cooked the salmon in the oven, with some lime, honey, habanero sauce, parsley.

Fish Fingers

lol I know right?! Why fish fingers tacos? Well we fancied tacos.. but we only had fish fingers in the freezer!

For this one in particular, we cooked 6 fish fingers in the oven for 15 mins, and we added some crispy broccoli cooked in the oven with some oil. They were actually delicious!

Shredded Chicken

Cook the chicken in a pan, add some lime juice and salt.

Once it's cooked, shred the chicken.

Shrimps

Cook the shrimp for not more than 3 -4 mins, in some lime juice, and they are ready to be used! Add some chilli powder if you want to add a kick!
