Apple Crumble 🍎

An English classic. I used to bake this so often, and then I forgot about it! Last week my mum asked for the recipe so I thought, why not baking it again? 🍎🥧


Ingredients:

  • 700gr apple

  • 1/2 lemon juice

  • 30 gr caster sugar

  • If you want - cinnamon

  • 200 gr flour

  • 130 gr caster sugar

  • 120 gr butter

Method:

  • Butter the 20 cm / 10'' flat tin with extra butter

  • Turn on the oven at 200' Fan

  • Peel and slice the apples.

  • In a pan at low heat, add the sliced apples, lemon juice and cinnamon - if you like it

  • Let is simmer for about 10 minutes. When the slices are soft, they are ready.


  • In the meantime put the flour, butter and the sugar in a bowl and with your hands starts assembling it.


  • Mix it till it becomes crumble


  • In the buttered pan, add the warm apples


  • With your hands, keep crumbling the crumbs 🤔🤪

  • In the oven for 30 - 40 mins at 200' and it's ready for you!

You can have it on his own, you can add some ice cream or some cream - as you prefer!
